I have been combing the beaches all my life finding seashells and beach treasures, viewing sea life and beach birds. This summer I was so inspired by all of these beautiful beach creatures I photograph and blog about that I decided to pick up the paint brush again. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I had 16 designs that I packaged into notecard gift packs with FUN FACTS about each sea creature for a fun twist. Check a few out…..
They really do! Half of their brain sleeps while the other half is awake…. so the half that’s asleep- the eye closes.
They are HUGE!
Here’s what the front of the Sea Life box looks like…
There are 4 designs (2 each) in each 8-pack box of Seashells, Beach Treasures, Sea Life and Birds.

From The Beach GiveAway…
The note cards are beautiful. I would have to say that my favorites are the seashells only because they remind me of my trips to Sanibel. My favorite sayings are the ones for the seahorse and Juniona. You are very talented :)
I LOVE them all but my fave is the seahorse.
I agree with Kelly. I love them all, but my two favorite sets are the seashells and the sealife. All are great!
These are awesome! I love them all but am partial to the sea urchin I collected several of those in April and looking at the jar takes me back to the beaches of sanibel!
I love, love, love the beach treasure. Thanks so much for such beautiful works of art
These are wonderful. I like the seashells (even though you didn’t do a welk..lol) and the beach treasures!
Wow Pam you are so talented. I absolutely love your idea. Your site is a wealth of information. Love it.
Great examples of life on Sanibel…was there in July and found so many wonderful treasures – a truly idyllic place.
Each one is special in its own way, however, my favorite is the Sand Dollar. It carries such a unique story with the special doves on the inside.
All so cute, but I think I like the animals best….can’t believe I said that–I’m such a shell lover.
If I must pick a favorite, it would be the turtle, because I am a turtle fanatic. I absolutely adore them all and definately need to get a few sets for my best friend’s birthday!
Spent two half days on Sanibel in the middle of our Orlando vacation. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Made a shadow box out of our finds. Your blog convinced us to go. Thank you. Now looking to spend at least a whole week there. What’s a nice timeshare there? So, your shell set of cards makes me sad thinking how badly I’d like to get back there. That’s my favorite set!
You are very talented! All of your cards a lovely, though the seashells are probably my fav.
I also love all them but I think the Dolphin is the best.
All your notecard are beautiful! I like the Sealife cards best!
pick me, pick me!
Ok Pam, once again, you have enticed me to enter….. These cards you created are like the actual shells and sealife you depict in your artwork…. Each one is beautiful in its own right, so how do you pick a favorite? The most obvious answer to me is this….. YOU CANNOT. I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!! Your blog, the information it contains, as well as your obvious love for the water and its inhabitants makes this my most favorite site. Thank you so much for doing what you do!!!!!
I think they are all my favorites (ok, maybe seashells and sea life a little more). You are very blessed to have such a great gift of art. How I’d love to have a set of these cards. You’re also a wonderful person to keep this blog alive with pictures and info. Thanks bunches!
I have to pick just one? Hmmmm. Usually I go with dolphin, but this time I am picking the conch shell. It’s a really beautiful print. Thanks- enjoyed this blog alot.
They are all beautiful. It’s a toss up between Seashells and Beach Treasures as my favorite.
Great idea and so clever — will make great gifts for Sanibel newbies who travel with me.
LOVE the white pelican…it’s beautiful! I just discovered your site a few days ago & can’t stay away. Thanks for sharing.
As a set, I like Hello, Birdies best. But the seahorse is my favorite card of all. Lovely cards. And wonderful blog.
Absolutely love the cards, especially the ones with coral on them! I am fascinated at the coral pieces I find & love trying to imagine what the entire colony must have looked like…and to think, it was once living! Amazing & beautiful!
All of them are awesome. Would love to have a set to send to my mother.
She has always loved shells. She has an awesome collection from when
we were kids. They are from the east and west coast. But her favorite place
to shell has always been southwest Florida, especially Ft. Myers Beach.
She would get a kick out of receiving one of these beautifully done note
cards. I love this website. I met a lady on Blind Pass Beach in Englewood,
several months ago. She asked me about my spoon that my husband had
made for me to use to find sharks teeth. She asked to take my picture with
it. And then told me about this site. Been hooked every since. Keep up the
good work that you do. Thanks.
Oh! The seashells have to be my favorites…such lovely artwork :) And I love the way you displayed them- on the beach!!
Pam, you are so talented and offer so much. Thank you for this blog. My favorites are the shells and animals. Each little tidbit with the art is informative. Look forward to getting a set!!
Kay
They are all so cute but the seashells and the sealife are my two favorite:)
What fantastic talent you have!
Love your sand dollar the best!
Wow, they are all GREAT.
I love them all, but I especially like the Beach Treasures with the sand dollar being my favorite.
Hi Pam,
I’ve been checking your blog almost daily since I discovered it just after your last giveaway ended…thank you for making me feel like I’m back on Sanibel Island every day…. (my last visit was for 2 weeks end of May/first of June). My husband has promised to bring me back in February or March when the weather will be cooler, the no-see-ums fewer, and the shells more plentiful (I hope!) I want to find enough worm shells to make a mirror frame like yours!!
I really love all your notecards…can’t even begin to pick a favorite. The artwork is beautiful and the added information takes them uptown.
I really like the bird set, but it was really tough to pick a favorite!
Pam….absolutely sea-sational!! tough choice for me but beach treasures and/or sea life would be at the top of my list. after all the sea is so full of life and sanibel/captiva never disappoints as far as beach treasures go. you are a wonderfully talented lady and your blogger friends are blessed to have you keeping us up to date. may your days be filled with sunshine, sea life and beach treasures galore! Judie
I love the dolphin one because I love dolphins, they are too cute!
Amazing work….I have to say that I love the sea shells. My and I visit Sanibel every summer, the island is beautiful but it’s the SHELLS that we love most about the island.
I love them all but I really love the starfish:)
I love all the cards but the sand dollar is my favorite . . . reminds me of my very first shelling trip back in June . . . while I love the cards, it almost brings a tear to my eye how much I miss it : (
Wow, the attention to detail is amazing. I think you should make Christmas cards out of them also. Beautiful! I like them all. Picking a favorite is like asking which shell you found is your favorite. Each is special in its own way. Nicely done!
These are all amazing! I think I like the seahorse best though – loved the little factoid on that one. How sweet!
Wow! I love them all, but sea life is my favorite. I am also an artist and I love your work and this idea. Very cleaver to add the facts about each item. I think that will be a great selling point and I wish you all the luck with them. I think my favorite is the sea horse – great detail. I also love the sand dollar and the shade of blue you chose is a great contrast. Lots of luck to you, I think you have created a great nitch for yourself!
Pam,
I follow your blog daily and enjoy my “Sanibel/Captiva fix”. It is alway informative and fun to see what the next day brings. You capture that feeling in your notecards too. The colors and designs are beautiful. I especially like the seahorse..but all are just as beautiful. You depict them wonderfully and love the “fun fact” on each of them. WIll you be doing a beach flower series of cards?
Shell Wishes to you!
Ha ha wow! Already 43 comments on this before I get my butt over here.
Well Pam, Id have to go with either beach treasure or the seashell ones as my favorites, although they are all really cute. I can think of quite a few people who would enjoy these!
love them all – it’s a toss up between shells and beach treasures. your website always gives me a lift.
Since I live to shell, my 1st choice would have to be the shells followed by the beach treasure. I see them framed already. They are beautiful!!
I love them all – my favorite set is a toss up between “Sea Life” and “Beach Treasure”. Those are my favorite things about going to Sanibel for a visit.
I love them all. They are very beautiful. You are very talented. Can’t wait to visit Sanibel again, but having these cards will help me think of the Island again and again.
Pam, You are soooo talented! Not just a photographer, but an artist, too! I love all the notecards! My first choice would be “Beach Treasures”, followed by “i Love Shelling Seashells”, then “Sea Life”, and finally, “Hello Birdies”! They are all beautiful!
I love the beach treasures, I love the ocean and what it throws at our feet .
love your blog too!
I love your notecards – all of them! Having them would be like having a little bit of the beach to enjoy all of the time. I like Sea Life and the Birdies best just cuz I’m an animal lover. But every single one is beautiful!
Can they all be my favorite- these are lovely!! If I don’t win and am not going to be near a store how do I get them?? Thanks for sharing:-)
I will have to choose the Sea Life because of the seahorse. I have them all over my house. Even have seahorse birdbaths.
My next favorite would be the Sea Shells because of the horse conch and the alphabet cone. But, I’ll have to buy both.
Love your Holiday cards.
Lee
I love All of them and I look forward to reading your posts each day!! Shay-from beautiful upstate South Carolina
Of course the Sanibel shells are lovely, but the birds are beautiful too. I would say my favorite is the White Pelican — a very majestic bird. You have captured all of your subjects in a lovely light.
My absolute favorite is the shell card about the junonia. It speaks to all of our individuality. None of them with the same spots as another? Well how great is that!
You art has truly captured the treasures that are all around us on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. I love them all. When I order, I plan on keeping one of each design to incorporate into a framed piece of your work that I will keep for myself. And what lucky friends I have that will be receiving a note with a little work of art created by you.
Pam, They are all beautiful. I like the seashells and sea life best . I am always facinated by dolphins. My daughter and i swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove in Orlando . We were both hooked. We also love shelling. I was in Sanibel in April and again in May. In October my husband and i were in Boca Grande his first time ever shelling he found a Junonia and I found a lions paw. Locals told me the lions paw was a good find, he found the junoinia later and we had no idea about what a great find this was. We were truly beginners. We have now educated ourselves (with help from Tammy) and hope to get back to Sanibel again.
It is so hard to choose which I like best. The shells are beautiful, always fasinated with the turtle and the manitee, the birds are amazing. I am sure your collection is something you are very proud of.
I guess I’m just a follower…I love them all too:) My favorite, though, has to be sealife. How do you Do all that you Do and Do it all so well:) You are amazing!!
They are all beautiful but SEA LIFE has to be my favorite…..check out my blog header and you’ll know why. Also because about 4 years ago I was able to witness a leatherback nesting and I got to name her all because my daughter used to work at The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach;~) What a wonderful experience that was!
It’s great that you put fun facts about each one on the cards so that the recipient will learn a little something also. Love the name of your company ‘Write From The Beach’…..
These are so great! I had no idea about the dophins sleeping with one eye open.
I love the dolphin
Wow! You are very talented! I love wildlife/nature and I can tell you do too! The sayings you have for each one are special. All of them remind me of my wonderful trips to Sanibel. I am a scuba diver so I love everything that lives in the water, I love to watch the birds, and I love to beachcomb! You captured it all for me! Thanks!
The cards are truly lovely. What an awesome gift you have of both painting and writing. I just returned from Sanibel last week and the cards bring back all the serene and wonderful memories that the magnificint Island has to offer anyone who treasures the beauty of God’s handiwork.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Pam,
I saw the cards in a bookstore when I was in Sanibel this summer. I saw that they were your cards, but I had no idea that you had painted those images. I think you should print on the back “An original painting by …….” My favorite are the Roseate Spoonbill, Sea Horse, Junonia & Manatee. I love the fact that the cards are not only beautiful but educational!
Seashells and Beach Treasures are my favorites. I think they are all pretty though.
Loved them all! Especially the sea horse and sea urchin. Sand dollars will always be my favorite, since a boat captain on Captiva gave me one as a gift and I then passed it on to a friend that was having surgery. Can’t wait to get back to find another one. Thanks for sharing your talent.
I am liking the seahorse, so sweet. We saw one at Jensen’s (Captiva) grabbing onto the line of a bait bucket floating off the dock. Tiny little thing. Then again, I see you have done a nice rendering of Bill, the Blue Heron. He summers here up north on the Otter Creek in Vermont then heads south to spend the month of May with my brother and his wife fishing, shelling, living and loving the Gulf Coast.
The photos are nice, very nice, but I would love to see a larger direct shot of each print. Thank you sharing all your talents.
Beautiful Pamela!!! You are inspiring -:)
oh my i would love to have those!!!!! they r soooo pretty!!! did u actually make them pam?
I spent all summer reading all about my favorite sea creatures then picked the ones that I thought were the most fascinating. Then yes, McKenzie, I painted each of those pictures like the manatee, the horse conch and, well, all of them! I had so much fun! I then had them printed on those notecards after I found all of the interesting fun facts to go with them. I’m like you! ….in love with the creatures from the sea, right?
They are beautiful! We just left Sanibel 11 days ago and miss the beach!
Your artwork is wonderful, such wonderful composition & color! I love them all, but find the birdies collection especially delightful. You’ve captured their personalities beautifully! We spend time watching them as often as possible; in fact my current post is about them.
I confess, it they come my way I’ll be selfish & frame a few for myself :-))
Peaceful day to you,
Julia
Coming from someone that doesn’t get to see the beauty of the sea and everything that comes with it. The sea life, shells, and birds as much as i would love too. Except for twice a year on vacation. Your post cards are very beautiful and the photos at the beach are wonderful. I am looking forward to our first trip to Sanibel Island this Spring…..
Pam, your cards are beautiful. …and would also be wonderful framed. Please add me to your contest. Seashells and the Manatee are my favorites. You definitely have a talent!
These are a wonderful idea!!! Beautiful and educational…you are a smart cookie!! Thanks for sharing.
I thought you might be interested in this free photo contest- the subject is Seascapes!

thanks, Donna, i ‘m gonna check it out!
I love the seahorse (a great anniversary card) and the shells (with a preference for the horse conch and true tulip) also the snowy egret. They all remind me of Sanibel where you can see all these things.
They are all just lovely, but as someone who used to keep a large tank of saltwater fish including seahorses, I find I am completely drawn (if you’ll pardon the pun) to your cards with the seahorse design.
I can’t even find the words to thank yall for all of your FANTABULOUS comments! I am absolutely thrilled!
Terry from Englewood- that must have been blog buddy Karen that you ran into-she’s given us tips about shark’s teeth.
kim- I have a line of Christmas cards last year with shells too. The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum has an exclusive wentletrap design with their logo on the back. They sell them in their gift shop…it’s a great fund raiser for them. Hmmmm. I should put that on my website too, huh?
lynda- great idea for flowers!
Karen- A junonia AND a lion’s paw??!!! Holy cow- did you play the lotto too? hahah That’s the ultimate in beginners luck.
VickyS~Fl- Very cool experience…and love your blog too!
Deb Hall- I would loove to see a live seashorse!
Thank you all…I loooove comments! So thrilled that we have so many so far, that if we reach 200 comments, I’ll pick 2 winners! So tell your friends!
Pam, look forward to your blog every day. Your cards are beautiful. Can help but loving the shells best!
I’m so glad I discovered your blog! ALL the cards are beautiful and where I live there are seldom shell motifs of any kind to be found. After much pondering, I believe I’d take the shells. But I also love the sea horse one – with its tidbit of information!
My favorite…..is the Dolphin! I really like them all but I have been collecting Dolphin items….like you collect Shells….for over 20 years! Your web site “Write from the Beach” is very clever and well designed!! You should do very well….
Your art work is beautiful, love the fact we can get it in notecards!
I met you on the beach at Sanibel Island on Sunday, August 15th. You and your husband were there shelling and you gave my husband and I several beautiful shells. Even if you had not given me your card, I still would have gone away thinking you were the nicest people.
I’d have to say that your sand dollar cards are the best, though they are all very very nice. I love sand dollars. If you would like some Pacific Northwest sand dollars, just let me know and I will send you some……. I probably have about 5000 of them.
Again, it was very nice to meet you on the beach. I was very sad when I had to leave there.
Awww. You are so sweet! …. and it was nice to meet you too. I’d have to move to a bigger house if I took any more sand dollars but thank you for that very kind offer. I bet your display of 5000 sand dollars is sensational!
Darn, I was hoping to give you a few, I have to many. I have them in every cubboard, drawer, shelf and storage cabinet possible. They are different than the East Coast type. if you change your mind, just let me know. We traveled all the way down the Keys as well on our trip. I was disappointed that I never found even one sand dollar. Where is the best place to find them in Florida?
Pam,
Your drawings are beautiful! Your sense of style and detail is fantastic. My favorite is the sea urchin.
I have recently found your blog and have been sharing it with my husband. In fact, he has just surprised me with a visit to ‘Tween Waters as my birthday present this year. We will be “seeing you on the beach” September 8th! I can hardly wait.
Lorrie
Nice husband! Maybe he sees from Clark that it’s a guy’s “hunting sport” too. haha Have fun a ‘Tweenies!
I love all the cards! If I had to choose one I would pick the Coral Reef because I worry about it. I was in Florida about 2 years ago and stayed in Orlando. I wanted to come to Sanibel so bad that I risked trying to drive over by myself one evening when everyone else (my family and my sister & her family) went to a Miami Heat basketball game. I think I got about 1/3 of the way to Sanibel before my courage (and time) ran out. Some day maybe I’ll see those piles of shells on your beach in person. :)
I love them all!!! But since I have to pick, I’d go with the birdies! Thanks so much for the chance to win these lovelies!!!!!!!!!
I love the beach treasure cards! I really like the star fish card best!!! I wish I were near a beach.I am always my happiest when I am near water,I want to move and be near the water some day soon.Thank you and have a lovely week.
jacksoncrisman@yahoo.com
I loved learning a few extra facts ,I didn’t already know,Thanks!
They are all so beautiful, but my favorite is the seahorse because I like the way he thinks!
You must have some great genes to possess such talent!
Pam,
I love all your designs but especially the seashell collection! I so enjoy reading your blog and can’t wait to get back on the beach!!
Jane
Hi Pam,
The note cards are all beautiful (as well as your blog, thanks for sharing). But for me…its the Jununia. Its the one I found on Honeymoon Island and “present”ed to my Shelling Buddy Kelly. After she freaked, she told me the story about finding a Jununia on Sanibel Island and having your picutre taken. I was not aware how special they are….but aren’t they all…I was twice blessed… three times counting Kelly…you never know what treasures you’ll find here in Paradise.
Pam, out of all the shells and wonderful sealife in Florida, and your beautiful note cards write from the beach….I commented on the jununia….(one of my favorite only …..wrong blog ….LOL !!!! ) ….which was disguised as a sand dollar !!!!! ….Can you ever have too many shells and they all begin to look the same…..The Heavens forbid…So, the winner and one of my absolutely
“favorite things” to find at the north end of honeymoon island….The Sand Dollar (No matter how you look at it)….love the Legend of the Sand Dollar and love your blog….
I love your designs and your blog!!! In these times of not being able to be on Sanibel/Captiva, it is great to have someone keeping me up to date on the island. Thank you.
Oh my gosh, Pam! These are fabulous! You have been one busy, talented beach gal. I love them all, but I’m going to choose Sealife as my favorite.
AMAZING CAPTURES! … the photography (rocks!) and your art work and inspiration is simply BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for your blog posts and photos. A friend and I will be traveling your way on Tuesday–your blog has made this area a must stop on our trip! :-)
We are in the Pensacola Beach area, which as you know, will never be what it was before BP… we are hoping to shell and enjoy the wild life there and escape all this environmental stress for a week.
Thanks again for posting such awesome pictures! Can’t wait to see your cards in person ;-)
So Cool! I had no idea you were an artist as well as all the other talents you have! Being a freelance photographer, I make writing cards as well….mostly from the swamps of Caddo Lake! So wish I could paint…sigh~…..
Love the bright fresh colors and of course…….the sea themes!!
Impossible choice! Love them all, but the seashells and birds are probably my favorites!
Just discovered your wonderful blog! Thanks for renewing the joy and excitement of shelling. I love all the notecards – you do elegant work.
EL on the other coast (Miami)
This artwork is beautiful! I really love the seashell pack. I also love the starfish, its very pretty. We were in the Sanibel/ Captiva area over the summer, and i found a tiny starfish at my first trip to Blind Pass. It looks similar to the one in your “Wish upon a Starfish”, but its a bit smaller.
thanks for info on these pretty cards, if I don’t win…. I’ll Buy!
Love them!
LOVE the Spoonbill card ! I was lucky to see about 36 in a group back in May – what a treat ! unbelievable color :)
How fun to add the facts to the art work. Love them all, especially the junonia. It’s been almost exactly a year since my last trip to Sanibel and I am so-o-o missing seashells.. sea life..birds.. and beach treasures. Thanks for your creations – your website, blog and fantastic photos are mini vacations for me while I’m far from the ocean in my home!
Sanibel is our favorite place and we love shelling here. All these cards give the essence of the Island, but I’ll have to go with the Seahorse for a pick.
I Love the sea shell cards – we have a condo on the beach in Florida and I am always writing notes to friends who visit and such – these would be so perfect for that! LOVE these – so perfectly suited to ME!!
Vicki
(actually I Love them all – but you said – pick one!)
Well they are so lovely! It’s a hard toss up for me. But I think i’ll go with the sea urchin. Even though my favorite creature is the sea turtle:)
We visited Florida for the first time in June and were simply amazed by the shells and sealife along the gulf. I grew up on the California beaches but the Florida beaches are by far the best! I have an instant connection to all your cards…but my favorites are the Roseate Spoonbill, the Sea Horse, the Sand Dollar, the Turtle and the Blue Heron. Impossible to pick just one!!!
Loved the Sealife cards with the dolphin and seahorse. But, my favorite was the Beach Treasure with the sand dollar. My teenage daughters and I found sand dollars for the very first time this summer. We found about 60 sand dollars in about 15 minutes and it was absolutely magical. I am looking to find a sand dollar pendant to give them for gifts to mark this wonderful day on the beach. Truly enjoy your blog–like getting to go to the beach everyday!
Debbie
Love your cards. Very talented. The shell cards are my favorite. They make me want to come back to Sanibel sooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!! I love your blog and check it everyday hoping to see your new finds. Thanks for sharing!
Rachel
The note-cards are wonderful!
I can never thank you enough for your blog and all I have learned in reading it! And a huge thanx to all of the folks who have also contributed their “;shelling stories”! =]
All your note cards are awesome, but I guess the seashells are my favorite. I love your site. Keep it up.
Hunter
The note cards are fabulous…..wow could not choose a favorite! I LOVE THEM ALL….. Moving to the island VERY soon and would love to win :) I book marked your site :)
From the Beach contest: Every single one of the photos has meaning for me. When your heart and soul lives on the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva, you want to bring home with you as many memories as possible. Anyone who knows me well knows that I love sea shells because my home is decorated with them. Whenever I am able to get over to the west coast of Florida and visit my islands, all the stress in my life is brushed away with the soft breezes. Thank you, Pam, for your daily postings — you don’t know how your photos touch me.
I’m sure I am too late, but Pam, they are lovely. Love the Seashells collection, especially the elusive Junonia!
I love the sea urchins. My husband and I have a special fondness for sea urchins. We make an annual trip to Sanibel, Fl. We love the beaches, Seashell Museum, Ding Darlings and Luc Century artworks.
All four are beautiful!!!! If I had to chose, I don’t know that I could between the “seashells” and the “beach treasures”. What a great idea, I wish you luck with them! Thanks for your posts- they truly make my day!
I like the Seashells, the Sea Life, and the Beach Treasures. I’m not a huge bird fan, but even those are neat. :)
A little piece of Sanibel to share with love ones. PS:can they be ordered online?
Hi Pam and hubby….(can’t remember his name but sure will check out the photos again when I get home to find his name. Am trying to pack and clean before we head home tomorrow to hopefully warmer than 55 degrees like it was in Minneapolis today.
I love your cards. I surely would love to fine one of the cone shells that would make me rich. Not in $ but in the finding it myself.
You mentioned that a Junoia never has the same spots…but then are any shells ever alike?
I love the horse conch and did find one this time on Sanibel. Last time we were here my husband found an 18 inch long horse conch. It was all beat up and green with slime but it cleaned up beautifully. I love to shell at full time tides!
The sea creature cards are really beautiful also. I buy my grandkids the Susan Tate books about sea life. They are excellent stories about how they are born, what can happen to them during their life, gives a good moral and lesson and then tells about “helpful human’s. You can get a little info. for your blog from them also. Just an FYI for kids if they read this.
I would love to see a coral reef but am not allowed to snorkel because of asthma but have found a few pieces here and there. I was in Belize how they patch holes in the reef and it is working to help them survive.
Did you know we get White Pelican’s, Egrets, Commorants and Heron’s in MN? I love to watch them in nature but find the Roseate Spoonbill the most fascinating since we have only seen them in FL and Texas so far in our travels.
Gosh, I always write novels instead of short notes.
I get so excited about things that I just can’t help myself.
Keep up the great work.
I truly look forward to checking out the whole website when I am home and back to having time on the computer.
Have a wonderful Labor Day, laboring on the beach looking for that one special find.
Annie from MN,
Pam-
It was such a pleasure to meet you and Clark tonight while out on the beach in front of Ocean Reach. yes, that was me with the snook. Fishing and shelling with my toes at the same time.
Great website. I’m enjoying the photography! You are a talented artist
I choose the seahorse as my favorite card! You and I have obviously chosen our mates well. The male seahorse actually “delivers” and carries the offspring. I love it that we both have mates who support us in our careers and passions-. Lucky us.
I love love the Junonia notecard! That shell is so striking and beautiful!!
Thank you for offering this and thanks for keeping such a great blog!!
in one of the pictures the gentleman is carrying a unique shelling tool on a shovel handel
can you please tell me what its called and how one can obtain it
thanks
two sea shellers here in myrtle beach sc
We call it a shelling backhoe…. but it’s really called a sand flea rake. You can find it at Bailey’s or Ace Hardware on Sanibel.. and some of the other shell/souvenir shops. Good luck and have fun.
I’m thrilled to find a kindred spirit !
( via Jenny Doh )
Beautiful cards and blog !
I love them all, maybe the coral reef, or maybe the seahorse ? I think they are all wonderful and will see them in person when my husband brings me to Sanibel for my birthday in 2 weeks! yeah!
You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing your talents.
