We found a buffet of seashells at Blind Pass Captiva this morning for our Thanksgiving feast! I’d like to invite you to join us at our shell feast with some Thanksgiving Day CYBERSHELLING! If you like to stay dry doing the Sit ‘N Sift, here’s a shot of the shells on top of one of the piles. It’s completely random so I’m really not sure of whats in here so I hope you find something you like!
I snapped this next photo just before the waves came crashing down on the shells that just washed up. I only had a split second to scan it but you can take all the time you want. Ready to get your toes wet? Gobble ’em up!
We hope you are enjoying your day with friends and family or having a great time relaxing with the TV marathons or doing whatever gives you peace and thankfulness. Want more beach time? I’ve got so many more photos to show you from today’s shell cornucopia (Shellucopia) that will have to wait another day but for now…
Join me on a Shelling Adventure!…
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Clark!
Thanks for the shelling video :-)
Thank you! This does my heart good!
Great finds Pam n Clark!
Awesome buffet!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Clark.
Love all the great shells you got while at Cat Island. I might have to go there.
Nice article on Sanibel Island in Dec issue of Coastal Living magazine.
Happy Thanksgiving. Of course me missed the shells, we went apple (snails) picking again. Cleaned the shells for 4 hours and we’re still not finished.
Maybe there will be more seashells tomorrow??
Thanks Pam…needed the cyber-shelling fix very badly…we have about 15 inches of snow! I cyber-picked up about a doz shells and that horsie you found in the surf…ahhhhh since I’ve only found tiny ones!! I laughed out loud at Clark trying to keep dry! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving! Who found the junonia? What other great finds-carrier shells, alphabets, tulips, bittersweets, horsies etc. Hope the shelling continues.
Pat
Happy Thanksgiving, Pam and Clark. So thankful to know you!
Oh wow; I love the sound of shells rolling in! What could be nicer than that? Happy Thanksgiving to Pam and everyone reading this.
I can’t believe the quality of the shell buffet! Such a pretty photo Pam!!!
All of us in the frozen north are grateful to have Pam’s blog to cheer us up when we are not on Sanibel. :)
Love love love the cyber shelling… It makes me happy every time. Thank you.
On my way to orange beach, Alabama for some very chilly shelling and boating. The shelling was fabulous in September when I was there, but with shelling you just never know. Hope all had a happy thanksgiving. Thanks Pam for your wonderful cyber beach.
I am thankful for you creating such a fabulous site for those of us who are not near a beach. The cybershelling was a great start to my day as I count down 7 more days until my next Sanibel shelling experience.
Best shelling I have ever seen yesterday. At beach in front of Sanibel Arms West condos guesses were carrying armfuls of 4″ to 6″ shells in perfect complete condition.
Thank you for the always great pics.
Amazing finds and all at once! I’m drooling! Thanks for sharing! Just love those cyber shelling photos! Love your Bahama shells as well… Happy Thanks-shelling! :) Sherri from MN

I’m thankful for cybershelling pics!
Can you tell us the location and how to get to the place you are picking up shells? I would love to go there next year when I visit Florida.
