I met a sheller visiting from Ohio, Janet, and she had a hayday this morning. She found 5 ALPHABET CONES, 3 bright orange HORSE CONCHS 2 1/2 to 3 inches long, LIMPETS, OLIVES, WORMSHELLS (my favorites), WHELKS, URCHINS and more. Congratulations, Janet! It was nice to meet you and LeeAnn.
The FIGHTING CONCHS are everywhere and even more PEN SHELLS so expect another good shelling day tomorrow. The shell piles are back so we’ve got lots to look forward.
