I normally don’t keep the LIGHTENING WHELKS, BANDED TULIPS, APPLE MUREXES or some other beautiful shells that were being tossed on the beach today just because I don’t have the space to keep all that I find. I’ll give them away to someone I see collecting them or just let them be. I always keep WORM SHELLS (on the right of the picture) and larger WHELKS and some others like these pictured from my shelling at Blind Pass today. It was so much fun to be there when the shells were literally being thrown on the beach by the crashing waves. It was a shelling frenzy!
