Shelly with Horse Conchs (North Carolina)
The beach at but Blind Pass just keeps on giving us good shelling week after week (only a few bare days).
I saw Shelly from Winston Salem, NC dressed in a nice outfit with a shell net and shelling bag squatting on a fresh shell pile. She told me that she always brings two outfits when she comes shelling for the day since she always gets completely drenched in the first one chasing a good shell or two. It was 4 pm and she had been out there since noon an found four (!!) bright orange HORSE CONCHS. The two she’s showing have the bright white top…..so cute…..perfect candy corn. Shelly and her husband come every year to celebrate their anniversary. This year is their 26th. Congrats!
