We may be feeling excited about the warm weather arriving (60’s today) but it’s really pretty sad to see so many dead fish, STARFISH and URCHINS up on the beach because the just got too darn cold. They couldn’t wait for the warm temps that we are all used to having.
I stopped by Algier’s beach at a pretty low tide this afternoon and saw Karen with a pretty big bag filled with shells. She said she was finding BANDED TULIPS, FIGHTING CONCHS 3 nice LACE MUREXES and SCALLOPS. She has been visiting Sanibel in January for 15 years and this is the coldest she’s ever seen it…..”but it’s still better than being up north right now”.
