Dustin (New Jersey)
Dustin scooped up 2 FLORIDA CONES and 2 ALPHABET CONES with his shelling rake (the same “backhoe” clark has). He said he found all 4 of them with 30 minutes or so on the Sanibel side of Blind Pass.

Julie and Brian (Long Island, New York)
Julie and Brian had a beautiful sunset to celebrate their marriage 2 years ago at South Seas Resort.

Melanie (New York)
It was raining the first day of Melanie’s vacation in Sanibel last week but she wasn’t going to let that get in the way of having fun. She and her boyfriend (or husband, I forget- sorry) headed to Turner Beach (Sanibel’s side of Blind Pass) and found a perfect 8-9 inch LIGHTENING WHELK. They’ve had great luck the last few days finding SAND DOLLARS, MUREXES and OLIVES. She loves the OLIVES to use in her art projects. She made 3 frames and 2 mirrors before she left New York. Sounds like she had to get down here to replenish her shells for more crafting.

Spectacular Sunset

Thank you so much for the wonderful shelling reports. You are so fortunate to be able to “scope out” all the good shelling spots every day! I am so envious!! I appreciate your dedication and the fact that someone realizes that there are those of us who are “crazy” to hear the latest shelling report, see the beautiful pictures, and find out what treasures you’ve picked up. It’s almost like a sickness. Oh, well, I’ve got it. Wish I had a close-up cure like you do. Once or twice a year is all I manage, so I’m relying on you! Thanks again, Vicki Horn
Vicki,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sending such a wonderful note to let me know that you are enjoying my pictures and reports. I do feel fortunate to be able to go shelling often ( without even being retired) so I’m glad I get to share it with you. Please remember that I will be changing the blog address soon to http://www.iLoveShelling.com/blog and I’ve got a few other changes next week. You’ll always be able to go through http://www.iloveshelling.com and hit my blog button if anything goes haywire. thanks again!
