I saw Judy that lives on the east tip of Sanibel by the Lighthouse and she had this bucket filled with a little of everything she had found from the wash line. It was loaded with SPONGES, DRIFTWOOD, URCHINS and EGG CASINGS. I asked her what she would do with it and said she was going to add this to her garden. It made me wonder….. sculpture?… fertilizer? ….mulch? I need to stop by her house to see what she’s growing in that garden.
I couldn’t believe how close this dolphin was to the shoreline. He was either playing, enjoying a snack or just giving us a show with 3 of his buddies this afternoon.
Hi, Pam! How nice to meet another Pam who loves shelling on Sanibel. I’m surprised we haven’t met; it seems we’re ships who pass in the night. I love your blog!
Pam
Hi there. Thought of you the other day as I made my way over to Sanibel and Captiva. Wondered if I’d see you in person this time. :) Of course I didn’t though. Bummer! It was a beautiful day at Lighthouse beach and blind pass that day. I actually just put some images up on my blog yesterday of my trip over there.
Hope you are enjoying the “warm up.” I’ll keep in touch and maybe we will ultimately run into one another while I’m over there shooting one day. Have a great weekend.
Blessings, Angie Seaman

Lighthouse Beach is our favorite. We have had the best shelling luck there. We had some dolphins give us a little show there too! I think they’re snacking.
