Our blog friend Kaybe witnessed SEA TURTLES hatching! And …. she captured this magical event on video at Blind Pass Beach (not Captiva’s Blind Pass) in Englewood, FL!

This is an amazing video. It was awesome to see these little turtles start their first swim. Incredible to see how they instinctively knew what to do. Glad Karen was there to shoo the seagulls away.
They seem so fragile and have such a struggle just to get to the water! And those darn seagulls. Sigh. Mother Nature doesn’t always make it easy to survive does she? Thanks for sharing this amazing vid of Karen’s.

That is truly amazing to watch those baby sea turtles going out to sea. Thanks for sharing. We are at South Seas. I found a little alphabet cone this morning. Also, lots of turbans. Come on out and shell with me sometime this week.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!! I absolutely LOVE sea turtles. They are my passion. I will be moving down really soon and hope to help with the efforts to aid these MAGNIFICENT creatures. I LOVE THEM……..
