Not many shells were to be found on the beach at Blind Pass Sanibel yesterday evening….but we sure were finding them coming in with the waves.
Ā I ended up finding a very nice sampling of the Sanibel SixĀ ….
We only saw a few other people on the beach to share the gold with so it was a pleasure to hang out and talk with Lynda from Palm City, Florida.
Ā Diana rented a convertible in Orlando to bring her daughter Maddie to her favorite place on earth…. Sanibel to find shells.
Looky what Clark found….. A nice wormie!
I just love finding a double SPINEY JEWELBOX…..
Just because you don’t see a lot of of shells on the beach, doesn’t mean you won’t find a treasure or two. Get your toes in the water and let the waves do their job of bringing the gifts of the sea right to your feet.

Hello. . . A friend and I are comidown September 12th and I was wondering how the shelling and water are at that time of year and where is the best places to get my Sanibel Stoop on? Have a great day!
I love that worm shell! I only find tiny pieces (which I still love). They add such character to my shell displays.

I want, I want, I want. This would be wonderful, such a cool idea, sure would save the back. We’ll be in Sanibel Sept. 4 – 8th. First time. Counting the days (16) Thanks, Melissa
Hi! Pam..
Just a cute story! I was wearing your “I Love Shelling” t-shirt one day while out shopping….Was in Bank of America …. walked out….and a lady followed me and asked where I got the T-shirt and where it was from.. I told her Sanibel Island and she told me that she had been there once in her life and it was the most “heaven on earth” place to go. I gave her your website and I’m sure she is a faithful reader by now….BTW…I bought your t-shirt from you personally last December @ the craft fair with my BFF..Sani-Belle Val from New Mexico. I wear it a lot and just love the material and the attention it gets…
Keep up the wonderful work that you do…We all appreciate it so much…
Dodie, Of course I remember you! It was so cold that day in Captiva and that’s when Val gave me the ornament she made ( I could still tear up). Thanks for spreading the shelling love!
These photos today are just like my recurring dream! I think it means I’m supposed to go to Sanibel!
Can’t have too many shelling scoops! My best friend gave me one for my birthday then I gave her one for hers. We wouldn’t mind winning another one for our other hand. Have the tees also. Hope to get back to the island before too much longer. Thanks!
Wow, those were some big waves bringing in the Sanibel Six!
Only 74 more days till we are there on Sanibel :-)

It is always lovely to see what the ocean has to offer those who are patient. I will be up early Sunday to see what the ocean brings to Lighthouse Beach. The morning is my favorite time at Sanibel. I like to get there while the birds and dolphins are feeding. Paradise.

I love the 2nd photo. Was wondering if you took that laying down in the water? Everything was in focus.
