I’m speechless. The day after I found my very first JUNONIA, I found a big beautiful LION’S PAW.
Really!!!! I found it on North Captiva on Saturday. I really can’t even find words to tell you how lucky I feel. Maybe because I’m exhausted from searching beach after beach all weekend (you know that feeling!) especially after I got the major adrenaline rush from my JUNONIA. I just had to share this with you tonight. I couldn’t wait one more second! Until tomorrow for the rest of the story….
You’re on a roll! Maybe you should go buy a lottery ticket!
Are you playing the lottery? I think you really should – you’ve been having great luck! Congrats on the wonderful finds!

What a delightful blog. It was such fun reading about the fun you have with your shelling. Great photographs. Thanks for sharing.
Way to go Pam!!! Has Clark ever found a lion’s paw?
Yes I have but just not that big. Just after Huricane Charlie we both found smaller ones.
Congratulations!! But seriously, any day at the beach is a good day at the beach! Lucky you!
So awesome!
Pam,
Congratulations on your great finds! I just joined your blog and facebook page, but have been visiting Sanibel since I was 9 and still haven’t found a Junonia or Lion’s Paw~ just pieces! Now, it is my daughter’s favorite place to go and it was her first plane ride when she was only a few weeks old! My parents are snowbirds there so we will be coming into town after Christmas. Dad volunteers at the Ding Darling Refuge. Would love to meet you! Will you be around?
Thanks for sharing all of your information and great photographs!
