Summer showers bring ridiculous rainbows. After a week of afternoon downpours, I finally saw a beautiful rainbow…and a double one at that! I had to share in a quick little post to hopefully brighten your weekend even more.
We were there the 4th of July weekend (Siesta Key) and found almost a 100 of this on their beach, going to make a special jar with them. On the way home to Merritt Island we saw a double rainbow and pulled over to take photos of it.
AWESOME! Thanks, Pam…have missed your posts of “live action” out on the Sanibel beaches. But a little rain has to fall in all our lives and we just “weather the storms” and go on! Right? Love to you and Clark. Stay safe and live to post another day, I say.
well i am EXCITED…going to amber gris caye in belize next march. THEY HAVE SHELLS!!!!! but i am coming back to sanibel for round 2 of shelling in october. plan is to do the jaunt to cayo costa on the 8th. but miss pam, pleeze have another shellabaloozah on or around october 8thish!!!!!
Judy, yes! Belize has shells! Clark and I have been there 2 times and both times found shells (but not the amount like Sanibel). We rented a golf cart and shelled just about every beach on Ambergris Caye- we love it there! have fun and I hope to see you on the Cayo Costa cruise.
How true is this pic. I feel Sanibel IS at the end of the rainbow. I could sure have another dose of gold, was there is June and soooo miss the treasures. L=O=R=E=E Is wishing you (Pam ) good health, hope you made a wish when you were taking this picture. I made one when I opened the post………….

I agree with Acey, you should make some of your photos available as prints and sell them in your on-line store. I would love to be able to buy prints of the landscapes and sunsets along with some of the shells.

Here’s what I wish:
I wish all doctors’ and dentists’ office waiting rooms and exam rooms had flat screen monitors to pacify and relax patients. Of course, the images would be Pam’s gorgeous photographs of FLORIDA!! Still shots in a frame are fine, but the flow of seashore images in a slide show format would be mesmerizing :)
Pam, my 2 cents worth of advice this morning would be for you to market your fab fotos!! Airports are another setting in need of soothing shots of the beach… as well as airplanes…. especially if they are stuck out on the tarmac with anxious passengers.
Just sayin’… your talent for capturing nature in photos sure would be a sensational way to add some beauty to someone’s busy day.
Your double rainbow shot put my entire Sunday into the right perspective.
I want to hug each and very one of you! You are my inspiration! I now have this photo in a framed print! What has taken me so long?????? But Thank you for all of your suggestions to get my hiney movin’ on this. THis is just a start and I can do more and custom ones of you and your family if I’ve put your photo on my blog…..but I would Loooooove your feedback on what you think about this…. http://www.cafepress.com/iloveshellingshop.895004157
Pam, I love your idea. I tried to pull off one of the shots you posted on June 20th from the shelling cruise. The cockle with the hiny starafish hitchhiker. It had meaning for Roy and me. I di frame it however it has the iloveshelling.com on the bottom. So I would say go for it. Thanks L=O=R=E=E
Very nice.

Beautiful picture….
Like it as always!
All I can say is WOW!

I’m not one to tell people what to do (snicker), but what about having a print shop of the photos you’ve taken? Like this one!
Thanks Pam! I hope you had/ are having a nice weekend! :)
