A lot has happened since I last posted here on iLoveShelling but to spare you of all the gory details, I just want to share the JOY … Shell Love Bug is home where she belongs! YAY!

We haven’t been down to Sanibel for several years now, but hope to get down in November of this year.

Great news about shell bug. I absolutely love what you did with the shells on that beetle. I do not know what all of the controversy was about or why you needed to sue lee county or what they were upset about. I’m curious to know can you drive the car around like that? That would really put a smile on my face to have such a car that could actually be driven. I am a huge shell lover!!! I have created two full length mirrors covered in shells and love finding new shells. I have been thinking about covering my dresser in shells but worry about having enough of the right shells for my design and the time/ cost it could be.

Yes I can imagine how terrible it would be if someone stole one’s idea or artwork. My brother is an artist, I have published a Family History book and also am working on a patent.
Perhaps we should contact our State representatives and encourage them to vote for the CASE act. Is that what you would suggest?
BTW, going to the beach (which I love too) is a great way to unstress and rejuvenate!

I’m just over the moonshell with happiness for you and Kent on your landmark victory. I feel humble and lucky to report that I was able to assist, as small as it was, by emailing the Lee County officials and signing the petition.
