YEAH!!!! I will be down vacationing next week and coming to the parade. I was really hoping you would be in the parade this year to celebrate. Can’t wait to see you, Clark and the Shell Love Bug!!! I’ll be the one screaming your name and waving like an idiot!! haha
Katherine (& Tom) from PA.
So happy there was a Lee County civil servant who had the good sense and foresight to help the Shell Love Bug find its way home to creator and sculptor, Pam Rambo. This will be the best yet 4th of July Parade!
I’m thrilled we get to enjoy the shell love bug once again to admire the intricate design and applaud her creator as they pass by. Thank you commissioner Mann for your sensibility.

I am thrilled the shell love bug is once again available to be admired, to appreciate her intricate design and to applaud her creator Pam Rambo.
Thank you commissioner Mann For your sensibility.
Delighted to see this announcement, Pam! We have been bereft during this long drought of I Love Shelling posts. I don’t know how I missed your announcement that you had won Shell Love Bug back, but let me add our congratulations on the successful resolution of that struggle. We hope that you will revive our favorite shelling blog now that your attention is not required elsewhere. Thanks for all the joy you share with your shelling followers.
Does this mean the Shell Love Bug is back in your control again? I really hope so and am very happy for you and the Buggy if it’s coming home for good. If not, you’d better grab it while it’s on the island!
Does this maybe…possibly…conceivably…perhaps…mean you might start posting again? I, and I’m sure many others, really hope so. We really miss the long-distance connection with Sanibel, you, and the rest of the shelling community. Although we weren’t the ones to take the ShellLove Bug away, we have had to suffer the consequences of others’ actions. I hope you can put it all behind you and get back to what you love doing!
So happy that the Love Bug is coming back to it’s rightful place.I have seen it many times and just love taking others to see it.Yea,so happy for you that it’s back where it belongs,so people can marvel at your artwork.
I am so happy for you, Pam! I sure wish I could see you proudly waving in the parade! The “Tennessee Teachers…Girls of Summer” trip ended Saturday. Sadly, we are back home and will miss the festivities. We spoke of you often while we were in “Paradise” last week! I even peeped in Congress Jewelers to see if you might be there! 😊 Enjoy the parade and the ShellLoveBug! Hopefully, we can reconnect sometime. Again, so very happy for you!
This is AWESOME news!!!!!! So glad to see you all touring again – for once, something goes RIGHT! That is an absolutely gorgeous work of art, Pam, and I hope to see it in person one day and to go shelling with you again. Shellebrating with you!!!
Hi Pam- Great News and as per other comments we shall be SHELLEBRATING with you . It would be super if we could see you during our trip back to Sanibel in November. Some really super trips with you over the years. Our Love and God Bless -Mike Marion & Sue.
Yay! I hope to see you at the parade. Give me a big shout out and I’ll try to throw you a wristband :). And give a big “thank you” (a sign would be really great!) to Commissioner Frank Mann and Ada, Mel and Clark. They helped free Shell Love Bug!
