My Top 10 Most Fave Posts Of 2011!
Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s been an amazing year on the beach so I thought I’d look back on all of my favorite posts of 2011. I realized not all of my favorite days were completely about seashells. Some of my favorite days of 2011 have been about the wildlife I’ve experienced because of my obsession (ha!) passion for shelling. So I’m starting with #10 then counting down to my number ONE favorite post. I bet you guess what that will be- heehee. Click on each title or photo to read each post…

Thanks again from the bottom of my hear for sharing all of natures treasure with us . You keep it going girl ! Happy New Year to you & Clark … hope to see you both again in July .
I’d pick roseatte bobcat and junonia as my top 3 faves. Thanks for sharing Sanibel with the rest of us (who might not get there much).
They are all favorites!!!! Thank you Pam!!
My favorite would have to be the one with the picture you took of my sister and I with our big hats on, sitting on the beach watching the sunset. You were standing behind us and we had no idea until we saw it here. Thanks for the great memory of a wonderful time!
Your posts are like a big box of chocolates – such variety and how can I possibly pick a favorite? Happy New Years Pam!!
What a wonderful review of a great year. Thanks for the treat. The bobcat is amazing; I watch the octopus over and over and am so glad they finally put it back; we are ready to head for the Florida Keys to snorkel; and 2011 brought you a beautiful Junonia. Love your blog! Even appreciate the great Google parking map! Looking forward to your 2012 adventures. Happy New Year everyone!
My favorites are the ones where you are videoing as you walk along the beach
and pick up shells and zoom in close to show us. It is as close as we can get to actually being there. Thank you for the wonderful pictures, videos and infomation you have given to us this past year. Congrats on your amazing Junonia find! Looking forward to what the tides of 2012 will bring.
Oh my, they are all so wonderful, Pam…hard to choose. #6 is a goodie because of your amazing photos that capture the essence of the beach and all Mother Nature has to offer us. May you have abundant health and happiness in the coming year and HAPPY SHELLING TO ONE AND ALL!!!
I have to say that your post about you and that Junonia was definately my favorite too! I was so excited for you! And all of the posts were amazing!

Thanks for posting. My husband and I just returned home from celebrating our 30th anniversary on Sanibel and thanks to you, I actually knew the name of some of the shells that I found. It was great fun . Happy New Year.
They are all fabulous Pam, and all of them have wonderful images. I love the beautiful bobcat and the Roseate Spoonbills, and your Junonia is really the tops in every way, but of course I would have to pick Sorting Seashells for the Holidays because I enjoyed it so very much!
Your junonia find was my favorite post, Pam. Your excitement at finally finding that elusive shell brought tears to my eyes because I was so happy for you. My next favorite is ALL posts because I’m living vicariously thru you. I’m so glad I discovered Sanibel and Captiva as a teenager and happy that you keep it alive for me. Happy New Year to you and Clark.
My personal fav was July 20 – meeting Pam in person was like meeting rockstar royalty!! And i was thrilled to actually be on the site as well! Oh, and all those alphabets …… ahhhhhhh, the memories…….
Thanks for maintaining a fabulous site and always keeping it upbeat n interesting.
I LOVE all of the posts and cant wait to check your blog daily. My all time favorite is probably the little girl on the beach. I was recently blessed with my first grandchild that is a precious little girl. I am looking forward to many happy memories of us on the beach with her. : )
Happy New Year and many thanks for your wonderful posts!!
I always enjoy your posts… Happy and healthy New Year to you and your family!!!
WOW! I missed the bobcat post! AMAZING! I love your number 1 post…super sheller! I’m still amazed at the shells you find! I’m posting my Christmas seashells tonight. Happy New year! ♥♥♥
Pam,
you need a “Go Pro” camera for your beach excursions. they are great. strap it to your wrist or whatever and you can shell and run a video at the
same time allowing us to cybershell with you. i love your cybershelling videos. thanks
I vote for # 6! On a trip to North Captiva, I was walking home from a day on the beach, alone. Had enjoyed the sunset and a glass of wine. I was very surprised to see a large cat….bob cat, panther come out of the brush and cross the road just feet in front of me! Needless to say, no one believed “Mom” had actually seen a bobcat, panther! Glad to see you got proof!
I found a junonia shell last summer! I had no-idea what it was until I looked it up! Love your videos!
